I was at the Youth Services desk Wednesday, and I ran into a problem helping a patron. I am a horrible speller and searching for materials means knowing how to spell the titles. The Glen Ellyn Public library is switching over to the Aqua Browser. It is a little more forgiving when it comes to spelling. Like Google it will make suggestions of “is this what you mean”. The library can now access the consortium’s databases in conjunction with the familiar searching system. It is not live for the public yet, but available for practice for the staff. I was able to find information for the patrons much more quickly using the Aqua Browser.
